even as a wip, this looks amazing. i do have a question, though: would you ever consider putting feathers on your rexes? do you think they would look better, or worse? i know that art doesn't need to be completely scientifically accurate, but i think it would be really interesting to see a downy feather layer interact with the muscle system you have going on.

Amazing!
Your animations have really memorized me.
May I ask what you use to animate with?

yes definitely, Maya is one of the top programs. It is very expensive, but you can get a student version for free.

Nice job with the rendering here, those eyes look like they help to display emotion, and feels like the T-Rex has a soul that makes him look out for others.

You're Welcome, I have fantasies of befriending a T-Rex and even being allowed to ride it.Β

Awesome! This is very usefull!
Still though the white eyeballs iritate. I would rather paint some lizard eyes than human eyeballs and a human iris.
It looks too cartoonish like that.

Thanks, There actually are different options for the eye texture.
Maybe you could elaborate, send a link to something that is more acceptable?

Everything is acceptable and it depends on the eye of the viewer wether he likes it or not, of course.
There are a lot of people who actually like human elements in animals. I mean, I like specific combinations as well. --> my avatar
But I wasn't sure if you intentionally chose the eye style often used in Anthro and Cartoons to make it more familiar with the viewer or if you rather tried to be realistic but just took the wrong eye coloring for a more reptil (or bird) like creature. If this was the case...
Here some more animalistic looking eyes I personally would prefer...
If you want to be geared to birds:

If you did it intensionally there is no need to be specifically responsive to my opinion. Just say it was your intention and if you're very generous tell me why and it's fine ^^

Aside from the eyes, everything looks great...The eyes look too human-like and not reptilian.

The details in this are amazing. Not only the texture, how every muscle moves when it breathes and damn, even the pupils adjust to the light! Impressive work, really.
