Yeah! I already read about this theory about that dinosaurs are part of the family of birds and not reptiles. I found really interesting this animals and all that involves them.

Alright, thats awesome!
How did you do it exactly?
By the looks of it you made a bunch of soft bodies as "muscles" that would then react to the gravity of the scene when physics are rendered.
The only problem it has though is that you don't see the muscles tense up when they're used in the legs.

There's a bit too much to try to explain. It is Maya Muscle system, created by Michael Comet. They are basically dynamic splines running down the middle of each muscle. The system has many more features
Yes I've thought about having a way to make the muscles look as though they are driving the movement instead of just reacting. - thanks

Maya, right, too bad there isn't something like this for Blender (or I haven't found any yet).
Would be a cool thing to play around with!
You're welcome ^^
I know how difficult it is to make that look good though

Just amazing!
What is the Rendering time? I mean so many cycles...
That must be >450 houres of Rendering time.
(IΒ΄m testing some BURP [Blender] renders. One file just 30 minutes to load the dataΒ΄s from the .zip-file. I thing I need hibernation....^^)

It take hardly any time at all to render screen tests. (platblasts) The fully rendered version maybe about an hour - using maya software (default render)
Your render doesn't sound right! I would suggest that you copy the file(s) off the Zip onto your hard drive. Also ask questions in the blender forums?

The file is normaly ~4 GB [sometimes up to 8 GB]Β huge, itΒ΄s from the Vetri-Project (number 2024). RAM required ~12 GB, now used 6,5 GB. Arg, I donΒ΄t like these Project withΒ the Badass-Cycles. Β
"Meteroid" is the best, runtime: 1,5 minutes. ^^
It looks like IΒ΄m alone with this problem.
You can take a look on this: burp.renderfarming.net/status.β¦
ItΒ΄s great for rendering huge projects just faster as normal. BURP [renderfarming.fi is the other inactive project] renders small movie for no money. You can run huge movies, too. Problems are: Cycles and Multilayer OpenEXR.

This is so amazing. I wish I could make work like this. All of my animal illustrations are traditional works, but with how everything is becoming digital so quickly, I feel so behind. This is so inspiring!Β
