I like the story and art style and both of your comics, and I can't wait to see how the story unfolds for the girls

-Do you do this with pencil
-Do you write out the story before you put it on panels

As for your questions, I do almost everything with a ball point writing pen (Though I wouldn't recommend it. It's way too hard for most folks. Most people do pencil lines first then pen over it.)
For shading I use a black colored pencil.
Story wise, I usually just make it up as I go along. But for this ppg comic I wrote it all down first. So that if I decide to make changes, I have a general outline to base it on.
As for advice for an aspiring artist like yourself, the best I can give you is this.
Listen to music. Honestly that's my trick. Find what music puts you in the mood you're trying to portray on paper and let the sound guide your pen. Art is feeling brother. You can't draw an emotion you don't feel. Hope that helps you. Send me some of your work! I want to see what you see.
