New personal painting. I am currently studying alot of movie stills and storytelling, and I wanted to use this opportunity to show a cinematic moment from within my worldbuilding. Its not easy, but now that the character concept are slowly forming its time to place them in a world.

I have always been intrigued by Southeast Asia. The rich and varied cultures, the magnificent vegetation, majestic and menacing wildlife and the untold secrets hidden in the island and jungles, ripe to be discovered.

Fish Traps

In a time before the the magnificence of the Majapahit empire and a united Malay archipelago, a catch from a simple fish trap often determine the emerging of a succesful merchant, bounty hunter, renowned hero or even a king.
