Description Tonight's very quick experiment with DAZ Studio and Iray is with using only light emitting hair to light a scene. Β The idea was that it would act as a rim light.

Thanks, I wish I had too, It's inspired by www.deviantart.com/art/Sci-Fi-… . Β It was easier than I expected, you just set the same hair texture for the emission color and increase the luminescence.

I was inspired to experiment as well.



I wanted to see what happened when two hair models were used. One emitting and one standard. I don't know that the results are useful for anything, but fairly curious just the same.

Those are some wild results.Β  Looks like the a test I tried with illuminating body hair and the whole figure looked like it was radioactive.Β  I left the scalp material on this test to normal because it was doing weird stuff to the interior head tooΒ
