Thank you, I love Carrara and this sky preset, too bad DAZ seems to have abandoned it. I still use it to model stuff. Thankfully some developers are still supporting it.Β I love theΒ "CarrarActors, Janette and Johnathon for Genesis 3 in Carrara 8.5" by MistyLaraPrincess.Β It allows us to use Genesis 3 characters in Carrara.Β I think they might even have a version for Genesis 8.

I have some tutorial-videos about C, but because i do all with daz, i didn't follow C any more, but i am interested to know how to model with C - e.g. clothes

Growing up I loved sailing ships, esp fighting ships. I used to sketch and draw so much the. This reminds me so much of the scenes i'd see. The sunlight is really nice.

well I was young enough back then that I probably did generic rigging lol. My uncle in chicago would bring his family when we visited grandma in ohio. he served in the navy and I would always take some books on the old sailing navies. I would sit on his knee and he would quiz me on the names of the masts and spars and parts of the ship. he really knew his stuff.

Unfortunately It was really created to be a different dimension than the 2 by 3 aspect ratio.Β I just modified it to to include the whole image in the width, but now you would have to trim the white on the top and bottom.Β Is that better?

Thank you,Β Surface replicator is built into Carrara 8.5 Pro and it takes objects and replicates them on any other object.Β In this experiment, I just replicated all the ships on the ocean primitive and randomized the rotation.Β I was so happy when "ultrascatter" allowed me to do the same thing in DAZ Studio.Β If I could just replicate the Carrara sky and water in DAZ Studio and Iray I would be even happier
