Description
This is another experiment with Carrara 8.5 Pro and LUXUS for Carrara. More experiments of applying LUX materials for the skin and glass.The settings are the same but I changed the color to blue and the Refraction to Alcohol. The HDR map seems to be the trick to good glass.

Its surprising that it didn't take much effort thanks to Luxus and Carrara. It's just a genesis figure in a sphere with a bunch of spheres made out one small sphere duplicated with the surface replicator. The HDR light added all the reflections and it took lest than 2 hours from start to finish. A little rain and smoke added in photoshop and it was done. Sometime the simpler ideas turn out better than ones I spend hours on.

Well, I can't speak to those tools for my lack of familiarity with them, but the result is very pleasing to me. I do all of my rendering in 3Delight, but I feel that I am just beginning to scratch the surface of what it can do.
