I love the epic feel of this, the ancient fabled hero against the tyrant monster. How it feels painted. The lighting and details draw you in, like the loose feathers! And, your post work is incredible. Thank you for sharing this Joe.

Thank you, It all started because I was having problems with the wings in Iray. Everything is a render except for the loose feathers that I added in Photoshop. The sky from Iray Worlds-Plus always seems to make these images feel painted.

Great Job, especially in conveying depth and the size of the creatures, which is harder than it seems. Though I'm not sure if Bellerophon would not rather sit behind the wings? But then, who has ever ridden a flying horse. Epic job.

Thank you, I thought the same thing, but since this was my first attempt I left him sitting where the rider sit's by default on a horse. He probably should be behind the wings if he doesn't want a very bumpy ride

Thank you, I have always love Pegasus since those old Ray Harryhausen movies. I have also been trying to get the wings to work in Iray for a long time. I went on to the DAZ forums and Midnight_stories provided a fix that got them working right.
