Description
Jax is a former member of the Special Forces. In his prime, he was captured and imprisoned on Shang Tsung's island to which Sonya would attempt to free him. Together they would ally with the rest of Raiden's Chosen ones to defend Earthrealm. In Outworld Jax would come to learn first hand the threat of their enemy. When he came face to face with Ermac, Jax was unprepared for the telekinetic Powers Ermac possessed and resulted in his arms to be ripped away from his body. Yet still, Jax survived the Outworld battles and after Shao Kahn was defeated he was refitted with cybernetic Arms.

Now with enhanced strength, jax would join the Forces of Light to defend Earthrealm from the Invading Outworld. Now livid for loosing the tournament Shao Kahn chooses to invaded Earth and Jax was at the front line of the battle for the realm. In a moment of downtime, the heroes regrouped in a temple, only to be ambushed by an enhanced Sindel. Jax was amongst the majority slaughtered in the temple.

His soul would then be claimed by the sorcerer Quan Chi and thus remade as a Revenant. No longer serving the light, he was twisted by the Netherrealm and sided with hell for the invasion of Earthrealm. In a strike of luck, Jax was present when Raiden attempted to destroy Quan Chi's revenant blood pool. The curse was undone and Jax was returned to life.

25 years later, Jax is retired from Military service and feels he must atone for his sins as a Revenant.

When Kronika first appears to unmake time, Jax appears to have joined forces with the Titan, under the promise that all his past mistakes would be undone. That he would be there for his daughter, and prevent her from ever joining Military service.

However, a younger Jax was pulled forward in time, and this version of him is much more optimistic and chooses to fight along side Jaquie against his older version, viewing the elder as disillusioned but still believing he could be saved. In a world where time has been manipulated, which ideology will pull through, will Jax atone for his mistakes or his he doomed to repeat them over and over?
