Upon the ending of the Tournament on Shang's island, Scorpion watched as the Shaolin Monk Liu Kang defeated the Sorcerer, and saved the Earth from being merged with Outworld. Unknown to all others Scorpion was fighting for Earthrealms safety as well, despite him killing his Nemesis Sub-Zero.
Cursed to live and exact his vengeance on the Lin Kuei Ninja, Scorpions purpose is finally complete.
However, when Shao Kahn sends his minions to Earth to invade and coax their participation into a new Tournament, a new Lin Kuei Ninja baring a blue uniform and the name SubZero appears to defend Earth. Scorpion rises to find out how Sub-Zero still lives.
