I'm sure canonically she has plenty of griffon pals, I always wondered why they choose to include a GRIFFON of all creatures in the Ponyverse, since, yeah know, Griffons are mythologically famous for devouring horses and all horse like creatures, with a particular spite for pegasi and unicorns... I found it odd.
