I loved Galvantula because Joltik is goddamn adorable and he's just a bigger one.
A friend of mine and I battled once, and the whole thing eventually came down to his hardcore-trained Arcanine vs my Galvantula, and which one could hit the other first. And my electro-spider just barely won.
Also I would wear him like a little backpack.

I like jolteon. He's like the Scout, except a) not a jerk and b) super cute.

Squirtle was my fave because when it evolves into Wartoitle then Blastoise, it defense is so beefed up, it's weaknesses stop being very effective.

I was absolutely in love with Nidorans back in the Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow days. I caught at least 20 Nidorans in my first playthrough. Before fighting Brock. They were just so fun to catch because of their rarity in Red.
