Oh lord, I don't know what category this goes in.
Anyway, this is the first of the Pokemon ACEOs from this journal: [link] It's cubone, as suggested by ~wolvensister I don't believe I've ever drawn cubone before, which is one of the reasons I chose to do this little guy. It's pretty fun to work with, though I'm pretty sure I failed at my attempt to do dramatic lighting.
This didn't scan as well as it could have, but most everything is still visible, so there you go. I've been ill and drawing is one of the few activities I can do without overexerting myself, so expect another one of these tomorrow.

Oh my gosh, I love Cubone! My favorite Pokemon! 
and I absolutely love this drawing of him. (him, right?) The atmosphere is perfect. Cubone always seemed so sad to me.

I always saw Cubone as kind of sad too. I mean, in one of the Pokedex descriptions I'm pretty sure it was described as the "lonely Pokemon."

He was kind of hard to find or catch, I think the only place I remember him being was in the tower in lavender town. Unfortunately there were also many ghost types there....

I really like the night sky on this one, it makes the character stand out a lot. Is that a lil skull he has on his head too or is that just how his head is, he's cute either way!

Yeah, that's a skull on his head. I was never really sure as to what the skull was from (I think it was a given fact, but I don't remember).
