This was obviously inspired by my rant a few journals ago about Kanye's overbearing 'confidence' and semi-outrageous claims about his position on the world scale.I figured it would be hypocritical of me as an artist to say that he should let his art speak for him, and have me blabber on about it. So I decided to do a piece to reflect my opinion. I'm mostly fucking around, and chuckled a little bit when I put that "me" pattern together. Plus I think I nailed the likeness pretty well.
Bottom line: I respect the dude, I love his beats (for the most part) and you have to respect his audacity. His attitude is just a little annoying though, you have to admit.

Sure, his ego is big, but he has alot of important thinkgs to say, and he is determined to say them. I mean his George Bush Katrina think was not done with much style, but it was clearly a risk he took. And his songs, like "We Dont Care" are pretty great. Great songs, and lyrics that arent written by a cursing 8 year old. Also, he is not terribly sexist or homophobic, which is saying alot.
I have to say, I respect him alot.

It's like that one kid on the high school football team that's really good and makes most of the big plays, but talks mad shit about it... You can't hate on his skills, but you just want him to shut the fuck up and play. That dude also has to realize that someone usually throws a good lead block for them to run for 90 yards like that, you know?

like you... I have always loved his production before people even got to know him as kanye west.
I never really like him as a lyricist. but he does have some stuff.
but now to tell the truth... I can not stand him his attitude is really terrible. my last draw with him was when he smashed that guys camera in the airport... really ! who does he think he is ? one day he will realize that we pay his bills as quick as he came up he can be gone. there are a lot of MCs out there that can fill his shoes easily. sorry for the rant but this guy has really gotten on my nerves lately.

I love Kanye, but seriously it feels like he's always got something eating him inside. I'm not even sure he knows what it is, so he expresses himself as true as he can, not considering how he comes off sometimes.

and I love Kanye. The thing is... SUPER humbleness and unadulterated CONCEIT are probably equally annoying to me.
