I wanted to do something light, quick, clean, simple, a little more abstract than the usual, you know? It's Boots Riley from the Coup, without eyeballs cuz I wanted to do that whole cool comic book type feel. And I love fros because you can get all weird with them if you want.Related content

This is great - I agree with the comment that this is a little reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix prints with the whole psycodelic lava lamp feel, and that it sums up Boot's attitude. This makes me happy!

Soul patch? Check. Glowy white eyes? Check. Disembodied head? SUPEH CHECK! Honestly makes me think of Jimi Hendrix if he had played as the Wizard of Oz.

Near breath taking. The blank eyes are not just blank they pull the expression together. I do not know if this was your intention but the mouth slightly a gap, the furrows beneath the eyes speak of experience possibly stress and the lack of eyes and the direction of his face all speak to a bit of apathy or disregard. I'm probably completely wrong but none the less great piece.

This dude is one of those chill cats that always looks like nothing phases him, so it was intentional. The absence of irises always calls out to me for some reason... It gives a bit of surrealism to the piece in my opinion.
