This was obviously inspired by my rant a few journals ago about Kanye's overbearing 'confidence' and semi-outrageous claims about his position on the world scale.I figured it would be hypocritical of me as an artist to say that he should let his art speak for him, and have me blabber on about it. So I decided to do a piece to reflect my opinion. I'm mostly fucking around, and chuckled a little bit when I put that "me" pattern together. Plus I think I nailed the likeness pretty well.
Bottom line: I respect the dude, I love his beats (for the most part) and you have to respect his audacity. His attitude is just a little annoying though, you have to admit.

I found the image I used for reference on google, and it says "Junko Kimora", so I think that's where the credit would go for the original pic.

he's a genius and knows it... anyone who knows their ability is never fun to listen to after a while. So small doses here and there make them enjoyable lol I have all three albums and can only listen to some songs some times=] great work, and i feel what you're saying.... I am getting to the point where i want to start doing art based on how i feel about the world and people, I just need to get a bit more confident in my work so I can portray my ideas properly so they don't suffer because of the art.....

Totally agreed on all points, Thistle. It's kind of a shame, actually, that someone who COULD make a huge difference doesn't have his priorities straight.
As for the piece... looks just like the dude, for sure. Also, I find it interesting that you decided to extend the "Me" pattern from the background to his hair. Kind of like he's got nothing but "me" on his mind, right? Well done, instant fave. This is why I watch!

Very powerful piece. I agree with you. He makes good beats, has some damn good songs, but he's too cocky to tolerate. But you gotta admit the "Bush don't like black people" was fucking hillarious!
