Mercy is a 1972 Chevelle SS. The reason her name is Mercy is:A) The name kicks ass.
B) Her ability to "mercifully" alleviate the pangs of being an undead zombie by instantly smashing the animation right out it at break-neck speeds.
This vehicle will eventually play a part in my zombie story. I love muscle cars, especially from the late 60's-early 70's, so I had to represent. Just a quick manip. to get a feel for how I want this ride to look.

I own a 69 Chevelle, a 72 Nova and two 67 Camaros and am also quite a zombie fan so I can't tell you how much I love this pic. Well done.

You can't go wrong with a ride like that. I'm really loving the old/vintage feel to this piece and all the hectic lineart...it really makes this piece pop out more than it would have if you had just used nice crisp lineart. I love the dirty and grungy background too and the colors are sweet.

The only thing I'd say is, on the final version, tape out the headlights. It's pretty common on the old muscle cars back in the day (My old man had a Falcon packing about 350 Horses), and I think it'll look right on a car like that. Oh, and maybe a Bull bar, seeing as those grilles dent pretty easily.

True muscle cars are from 60-70 anyway. Great draw, great car. The name is also good, but I wouldn't say it kicks ass. I prefer female (nick)names, like Kat or Sophie. Mercy may also be a female name, but well...

I still say it kicks ass, and yes, it's a female name (see: The Warriors). I like female names that are more than just names (ie. Mercy, Cadence, Bliss), you know?

Im not into muscle cars but the 1972 Chevelle SS is one of my favorite muscle car. I triped that ride out from the game Midnight Club 3 for PS2. It's an awesome car man, I really like it a lot.

This is truly my dream car.. i have always loved Chevelle's, i decided one day i will have a red with black racing strips 72 Chevelle SS.. i wanted a 72 because that was the year my brother was born..
