Here's a picture of Blossomforth sitting on a cloud... I'm not entirely sure why... I was trying to think of something to draw, and then this idea popped into my head...Anyway, this was a quick image, taking about an hour and a half, start to finish - significantly less time than I normally spend on a custom vector. IDK - thinking about adding some shading/lighting, maybe a background. What do you all think?
This is a fully custom-drawn, non-traced vector made using Adobe Illustrator CS5, Paint Tool SAI, and a Wacom tablet. MLP belongs to Hasbro, art is mine.

Hmm I think a more show style cloud could be cool. I like the way the clouds in the show look. Then if you wanted to differentiate her coat color from the clouds, some lighting and shading would help a lot there!

The clouds in the show are surprisingly inconsistent - their appearance changes based on time of day and usage (background, weather, sitting, etc). Granted, this is definitely not the sitting clouds that we usually see Dash sleeping on, but she blended in way too well with that so I used a background-style cloud instead, as she's a bit less camouflaged.

Muzzle looks a bit sharp but it's pretty good otherwise. As for shading, I say go for it! You might like that style or something.

After looking at it, I agree - the nose was a little too pointy, so I rounded it a bit. I also added the freckles as well, because I forgot those

Yeah, I think I'm going to revisit this one and add some shading and a background, probably change the style of the cloud a bit too.
