Well, I mostly listen to prog rock and prog metal music, math-psychedelic post metal and post rock, sometimes I relax while listening simple nu-metal bands or generally well composed pop (Sting, Peter Gabriel) and of course - ambient prog/electro music and soundtrack-like music (Two Steps from Hell, Immediate Music etc.) while I paint stuff. However, I also have got a soft spot for 80's synth-pop ... so - yeah, nice pick

There's an arcade game machine where I work has a variety of realistic and non-realistic shooting games in it and one of the more stylized ones looks a lot like this. The 80's style grid-work and whatnot
