There is so much emotion in this, and your choice to use such strong vibrant colours only adds to it. I find myself really focussing in on the mouth, it's a strong focal point. Absolutely spell-binding.

oh, good idea - I remember I had to let the glazes set up for about 15 minutes before I could get this effect with the splatter.

Both the faces hold so much expression. I love the man's face especially. My first impression was of some kind of attack on the woman but now it looks like he's protecting her from something and maybe she's fainted in his arms. His face def has this look of "U touch my lady, you die bloody painful death."
The anatomy is perfect on her. Then there's the atmosphere that almost makes it seem like they were trapped in a battle and are surrounded by the aura of war. I could be completely off

It's dream image, and the loss of control that happens in dreams. Chimeras are associated with dreams vectoring on nightmares, I think
