Description
After an uncomfortable night on a park bench, Snape is awakened by his exuberant friend Vera.
Vera is a teenager like Snape, yet has not progressed beyond the emotional age of a much younger child. She has a sweet and excitable nature, at times dangerously naive. She can also demonstrate an unusual perceptiveness because of her innocence, a quality more worldly people around her have forgotten about, and left behind as they grow up.

I should add that the song Vera is singing is a real song from the character's time period, with a childlike and wistful spirit, much like Vera herself. The lyrics tell a bittersweer tale, which is relevant to this story.
