Such wonderful artwork again! This comic really is epic! And your young Severus looks so great. He is perfect!
Those mean boys are messing with the wrong wizard! Grr! Vera is so lucky to have him! And you made it utterly believable - his actions and all! (I think I said that before, but I'm not sure) Because he is very sweet and protective of her, but also sometimes acting like the typical big brother; the one who's pretending to be somewhat annoyed by the little sister, but in fact loves her obviously!

Things are getting interesting. Does Vera's guardian know about all of the dangers out there, or is she just oblivious? Seems like she found her white (green?) knight just in time. I love how the gloomy industrial town is drawn (shading gives it the proper depressing look) and the faces on the people are all wins. Poor Sev seems to be thinking "Not again!"

Yes, he is put - upon We discussed the guardian issue? . . . and kind of decided that back in the mid - late 70's, perhaps they're not as vigilant, but just as overworked as they are now . . . she lives in an orphanage of sorts, but is old enough to play on her own, and an upcoming character keeps tabs on her as well It helps the story, anyway.
