Thanks Vero There's a message in the book, but I doubt if anyone can decipher it

oh I really can't read what it says, it's in some kind of code... I can only read 'rose' in the second page. I love this! It's just so beautifully done... hint pls?

The profile strongly resembles Basil Rathbone as well. Man, now I gotta think about if he played Snape.

Unintentional, but certainly turned out that way

Well, it's inspired me to make a little piece of "What if H.P. was made in the 40's?" and when I post it, I'm going to credit you for giving me the idea.

Oh, how cool!  I would think some noir actors from this era would do well.  Frankly if book descriptions were paramount to the movies, Rathbone would have fared better throughout the series IMO :/

Bogart would be cool as Snape, but he could play many chars I'd think . . . he snarls pretty well

I just posted my piece now!

I think Bogart would be more believable as Sirius Black, even though I chose someone else for this list.

I can wholeheartedly agree with Gryffgirl if dA has done one thing for me it was showing me excellent artists who also happen to be excellent people! (Funny bit of trivia: I kinna call you, Vizen and e-c-h  "The Holy trinity of Snape fanart"...you guys rock that much)

That being said: this is so sleek and elegant I can´t even! The robes are flawless and the hands are giving me tingly feels they´re so nicely done!

I also consider myself fortunate to have met so many brilliant artists in this fandom, including and you.  Your Snape is so canonical and perfect.  There is a Renaissance portrait influence here that I like very much.  Bravo!

Thank you so much Gryff, that means a lot to me.  I hadn't been able to work like this for a long time and it felt great to channel my Muse again, even better with your kind words of encouragement
