Been wanting to do a few dark works in the manner of Redon and Goya, just little monochromatic noirs. just to let you nice friends know where i have been and why i am not around much.I have been trying to catch up with life and everything that goes with it
it is interesting how one can get used to the way things are for a while, now reality is back again no more smell of hospital, i am grateful for that. My HP computer has been over heating for a while now and finally I can send it to be checked and hopefully fixed i almost BBQ my thigh

Interesting atmosphere. I find the presence of the great cat strangely comforting, like the embracing darkness outside when you can spend your time in sweet solitude. His eyes are like two golden moons.

That's something I don't master much: how to make things/people look "thick" enough in the drawing, like here, so that they could visually be more important than the background. And it took me a while to make them more 3-dimensional and not just "flat" (and it's still not easy).

This big black cat looks amazing and really mysterious. I checked the comments and noticed references to Edgar Allan Poe, it's great! But I also see here a reference to the cult novel "The Master and Margarita" by Bulgakov. Your cat is reminding me of Behemoth. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Behemoth…
