Description
So I forgot to post this a while ago, I've still got one more practice page I'm gonna do. You might be asking why I didn't add details in the buildings on panel two and three, but I did that because I was planning on coloring in those details and adding blur to them to help make the panel feel like it's in motion. When I finally get some time, I'll post up the finished colored pages. Hope you guys like this page.God bless!

There's serval flaws with the page, I know that for sure. Your critique on it Chad isn't going to hurt my feelings. I need to hear what I'm doing wrong, so I can stop doing that and start doing the right things.
That's how I've always learned. It's always been about improving for me.

It looks like you rushed to just get it finished. and not really take the care I've seen in other stuff you do. You need to treat every object... not just characters as a Character. you need to ask How do I make it interesting to look at? When you look at a cartoon on tv... the objects are characters on their own and adding story to everything even on a subconscious level. you need to take as much interest in everything. Look at it as a challenge and how you can bring life to those things.
You look at sean Murphy and it's not just about the life in his line and texture... the shapes in his vehicles have movement and character. he treats the objects as a character too. They feel alive! That's my point. it looks like you just drew this to get it out of the way.

I have to say I do agree with what you have said. Backgrounds, cars, and environments have been a big weakness that I have been working to refine. Looks like I need more practice. Sean Murphy is actually who I primarily look at for inspiration for those things, but again I do need more practice. Concept art is a big thing that inspires me to get better at Backgrounds as well. The love and care the concept artists have to making environments whether it be cities, landscapes, forests, anything. I'll do my best to make sure the next pages I draw have much more love shown to them, and not just looked like a rush job. Thanks for the critique Chad.
