I love how cartoonish they look, too. It just adds on to the excitement of the picture. Yet, I'm not a common critique writer, so I really can't find anything that you need to work on. I know that eveybody makes mistakes, but this picture just seems so perfect! >w<
Twilight and Rainbow's expressions are so fitting to the situation. Honestly,words cannot describe how amazing your style makes this! I think it's original, even though some of people have drawn these two in a situation like this.
To sum it all up, this is a previous picture that I definitely am not hesitating to favorite. Great work, my friend!

You know, I'm curious, as a person with deep appreciation for classic animation tropes and characters, what is it that you see in MLP that's gotten you to the point of drawing it on an irregular basis alongside your tributes and original content.

As for the answer to your question, MLP appeals to me because of the characters, stories and world's it's created. They're all very charming and adorable (I love adorable stuff). Also MLP does have a lot of elements from classic cartoons thrown in through out the episodes (particularly in the Pinkie Pie scenes). MLP might not be prefect, but to me it has a really positive and fun attitude, which is why I enjoy drawing the characters so much.
