I love the blue and white. Gives the piece a happy feeling to it. The unfocused drops almost look like lights. As if nature is fading into the city world. Very cool effect. Amazing shot. I'm still working on catching something like this myself. But I don't have the right lens just yet.

You just need pratice much. I've taken around 7000 clicks in more than a year with my just camera( A Sony DSC-H55). I say you use a compact sony camera, model DSC-W370. They are good for beginners. Always use the "manual" option of your camera to take the photos, never use the "automatic" setting.
Here's a comparisson between my old camera and yours: snapsort.com/compare/Sony_Cybe...
I took this photo fav.me/d5tazkf with my compact camera. You can do it too

Thanks for all the tips. I do have a small camera but I take most of my photos with a microscopeinternational.com/ni.... I have two lens for it but it started out as my mother's so I'm still learning on the details in in. I've bee getting more and more into "manual" but sometimes forget because my mother still uses it and can't use "manual". Thanks again for the help and I'm still jealous of your webs

Very good! Actually i have only my basic kit lens: Canon EF 18-55 IS II. It's basically the same as a Nikkor 18-55mm, so you can do good shots of webs
Also a good editing is always good

This is so beautiful, I actually thought it was christmas lights at first because of how delicate the web actually is, it's just amazing!

Wow...this is an amazing photo take! I love the beautiful shades of blue, and how all the dew drops look just like tiny jewels hanging from a thin tread...
