Thanks, using coloured pencils it took about 10 hours for the fur, 3 layers of for each colour dark, medium and light.

A lot of the time when I'm working I usually put some music on with headphones, I find this helps to focus on what I'm doing and also keeps out any outside noises or distractions.

Thanks, I have done a few recently where I've added accessories( jewllery, feathers, etc) that brings the picture off the canvas.

One of the best things about re-painting a picture is being able to slightly change some areas or add more to the design. For the last re-paint of Pride and Joy I ended up making the ornament (thats below the cats) out of Super Sculpy, glued it onto the canvas and painted it with oils, also added real earings to the painting.
