See something like this needs to happen in the show to dispel rumors that Celestia has kept Luna in a closet in the palace and has only let her out for Nightmare Night since she returned.

Trust me: they only get worse from there.
It's great to see both sisters enjoying such a wonderful celebration with all of their adoring and loyal ponies. Celestia looks pleased but definitely more restrained as she waves to the crowd. Meanwhile Luna is doing her best but still can't help standing up against the balustrade as she enjoys the attention. (And the wings are always a giveaway.)
Besides the beautiful ponies themselves you did a great job on designing the balcony, background, and especially the nice details on the tapestry behind them.
