Description
This time I gave AJ real freckles instead of the 3 white/yellowish dots?You can tell I do enjoy drawing both of them as humans.
You can make up your own story on what happened.
Note: I never realize Big Mac has freckles. I been drawing him without freckles the whole time. LOL!

Awww so Cutie D= Apple Jack is my Fav and I love every single pic you have her in! And Big mac reminds me of myself and AJ as my younger sister, so I feel a strong connection to this pic since I've had to done something like this before xD.

It's very poignant to see Big Macintosh taking care of his little sister like that, and seeing Applejack crying has me very curious. They both look great, especially the way you've taken care to mold Applejack's soft front to Mac's back as she holds on tightly. The bright foreground (under a lamppost I guess) with the lovely night background makes for good visual and emotional contrasts.
It's hard to imagine what could have Applejack in tears. Though it looks like she took a bad tumble and scraped up her knee, so maybe she injured herself too much to walk and is mad about being embarrassed and also upset that she won't be able to work for a while. The nighttime background is very lovely and very peaceful, so I imagine that besides the crickets and an occasional sniffle it's a quiet walk home. Poor Mac doesn't know what to say, or knows what not to say until she's had a little time.

I could imagine this being right after AJ was dumped by her first boyfriend (or girlfriend, depending on who you talk to...). After a big fight with them, they dumped her, and left her on the roadside or at the venue where they were at a date or something, and Big Mac came to take her home. Finding her in a tearful slump, he hoisted her onto his back and carried her home.

Perhaps Granny Smith isn't doing too well and AJ went into the orchards to be by herself.
Big Macintosh found her and like a good big brother, carried her back home when it looked like she wasn't going to be able to walk, for weakness in the legs from the fits of sobbing.
But that's only my interpretation.

On a more srs note, perhaps Applebloom's run away with her crusader friends and none of the older ponies can find them, no matter how long or hard they search. *shrug* I dunno.

Applejack misses being a pony and has started a protest to not use her human legs and soon,during the protest,a Riot broke out and Applejack sat there and got trampled and now she has to be carried home.

Wow, well this is a sad turn from the usual deviations! Nonetheless I feel so bad for my favorite pony and her incredibly strong brother here. It's really powerful, makes me think of all the things that could have happened. Very well done.

She discovered that Rainbow and Pinkie went out on a date to the movies, AJ found out through Rarity. She then broke down believing she has probably lost her chance to get together with Rainbow. That's when Rarity had to tell Sweetie Bell to go tell Applebloom that Applejack was crying, who then told Big Mac, who then came to take Applejack home.

Why do i see this as a post Granny Smith death pic.
AJ decides to try to work to cope and hide her feelings about her death. Working late into the night without realizing it. Big mac finds her, gets her to stop hiding her feelings and carries her back into the house into bed. Maybe I'm just looking into it too much, but it looks like Big Mac's sad too and trying to be strong for his family.
