More of this silly universe. Not only does Filly Lyra walks into Filly Twilight's house, she also sits on her bed, holds Smarty Pants, and stuffs herself with chocolate.Either Twilight is so into what she's reading or she's thinking, "Just ignore her and maybe she'll go away..."

I see it more as Twilight was friends with Lyra at some point, but their friendship waned when Twilight was asked to become Princess Celestia's apprentice at Canterlot.
If I was to hazard a guess, I'd say Twi's reading a book called "The Link Between Chocolate And Equine Diabetes". Lyra'd better get out of the room before Twi starts lecturing her(and leave Smarty Pants behind).
