Harlequin Fish Inspect the Nest, 2014oil on canvas, 16" x 20"
SOLD!
This was a spontaneous painting that started as a series of lines to make an interesting dynamic. I then started adding detail to the fish which took on clown characteristics, I then created the 'nest' as a focal point for the fish that needed something to do. Adding the hypnotic wave patterns and clown colors was the icing on my fish cake.

Thank you very much! I finally got a show for this entire series at a venue appropriately named Fishtale Brewpub. When I saw the call to art for it, it was a 'no-brainer'
