Description Here's one of those blaster pistols they made for the GI Joe movie and the green and orange plastic just didn't look that great. Β It's definitely not a kids toy any more, but it should make for a good filming or photography prop

Thanks bud! Β I wouldn't have stayed away from dA if it wasn't so insanely busy Β  I got these a few years ago when they were available, but you can likely find them on ebay! Β Good luck!

Thanks! Β It's been a few years, but I got a bunch at the time. Β I hope they can still be found for when I finally run out of stock!

put a working flashlight in the part below the barrel, with the battery in front of the hand (the hand guard so to speak), convert it to an Airsoft replica and i'd buy it xD
Though for practicallities sake, i'd ditch the knuckleduster, seems rather pointless with an already exisiting hand guard

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JohnsonArmsProps In reply to ShadowSketch91 [2016-02-01 01:56:30 +0000 UTC]

I'd buy that too! Lol! Β Actually, my next purchase will be a KRISS Vector which this was modeled after (except they don't make a pistol version)

ShadowSketch91 In reply to JohnsonArmsProps [2016-02-01 18:17:54 +0000 UTC]

Also, is that a working Airsoft replica or just a prop gun replica? because i'm crazy about handguns XD

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JohnsonArmsProps In reply to ShadowSketch91 [2016-02-04 06:00:00 +0000 UTC]

It's actually a "kids toy" from Hasbro which was made at the time GI Joe 2 was out in theaters. Β It shoots doopy little plastic torpedoes about 5 feet so I'll say it's non fucntional, lol!

The brass knuckles trigger guard seems a bit impractical.
We all know why they make these things in pretty colors, but you turned this thing into an awesome prop.

JohnsonArmsProps In reply to master-ninjabear [2016-02-01 01:58:08 +0000 UTC]

It's practical when the grip turns into the knife handle, but I ditch that part so it does look a little unnecessary lol! Β Glad you like how it came out, bud!

Was thinking the same thing about the knuckleduster grip.Β  There is a reason they don't do that on trench knives anymore, you can't easily put it down if you need to.

To the maker:Β  It is awesome none the less.Β

master-ninjabear In reply to Emerald-Wolf13 [2016-02-06 15:08:43 +0000 UTC]

Everything in life is a tradeoff---a WW-I era trench knife has a sure grip and an extra weapon, but even an Applegate-Fairbairn has pros and cons.

It comes down to individual tastes, I suppose; personally if I'm in a knife fight, I want my trusty Camillus made K-Bar.

Yup, I really like the little ones for fishing.Β  The are like the Western knives from the 50's.

master-ninjabear In reply to Emerald-Wolf13 [2016-02-08 15:52:37 +0000 UTC]

A fishing trip is when I drop my stainless steel Camillus scout knife in my pocket.

Emerald-Wolf13 In reply to master-ninjabear [2016-02-10 02:18:23 +0000 UTC]

Heh, those are the bomb. I have a TL-29 (army wireman knife) that I love. When I heard that Camillus sort of went under I had to find one of them stainless ones. It is second only to my Kabar scout knife.

Camillus, one of America's greatest knife makers, gone after only 131 years.

Aw. When I saw "Ares Arms" in the title, I was hoping it was a new Shadowrun pistol.

Pretty awesome paint scheme! Looks like someone tried to cram a set of brass knuckles in there.

JohnsonArmsProps In reply to Irondrone4 [2016-02-01 02:05:26 +0000 UTC]

Sorry I mislead ya! Β I hope you still like it (the grip originally detached to turn into a knife with equally unnecessary knuckle guards

It looks like a Kriss magwell glued underneath a Glock. Any idea how the prop functioned in the movie?
