Love the can and valve up top. You are an inspiration, Mr. Arms.

Haha, thank you kindly! I eventually moved the canister to the opposite side of the gun, but I still kinda like how this setup looked. I may have to give that another go at some point

I've been building scratch and kitbash models for years, but I'm just starting into modding (my brother suggested it and just bought me a Micro-Mark spray booth to kick off my 'career'!) I've been through your site at length; is there any place you can direct me to get some tips and techniques on working with these larger pieces (anything from paint to operation to cosmetic options)? Love your work; it is all very inspirational!

I'm glad! That's a salvaged spray can that I actually used to primer this prop. The valve is an all-plastic version that I painted up to look like brass and painted steel. I hope it will add to the overall look of the gun when it's finished

Haha, not a problem. I've just been working on a secret project that has kept me from finishing this up. I plan to have it done next week for sure. Thanks!

It sure is, I'm still debating on the placement of the canister and a few other details for the stock. It should be wrapped up soon!
