Description
Here's a HO scale train set that I did for a client. I thought it turned out pretty nice so I wanted to share the results. If you're a model train buff, I'd really appreciate you opinion and input!

I'm a huge train buff and was delighted to see one in your stream! It looks excellent, the weathering is very well done and it looks very realistic. Great work, I'd love to see more trains here in the future.

I think that will happen! I had a lot of fun with them and if there's a demand for more, I will definitely be doing that, haha. Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it

I used to be a Model Train hobbyist back int the day. I've built a Marklin before, this one looks good, but the lighting on this photo is such that my old eyes can't really see the details to give a good critique. Was this a model kit train or did you just paint it?

I'll try to get better lighting on next photo, this one was done with my phone and it's never as good as with the DSLR. It was a constructed engine that I repainted and there train cars were part of a four-piece set that I also redid to look more aged and weatherbeaten

We have a few of those HO scales, they're fun little toys
I for one never cared for trains real or toy that are plain black--too plain! haha but this does look good, better detail than ours have from the manufacturers~

I know what you mean! I'm the same way with black gun props. I'm looking forward to doing some more brightly-colored engines here soon! Thanks for your input!

I'm not really into model trains, but my dad did collect them for a while. And that's really awesome looking.
