Description
Strictly in the style of Mass Effect, not meant to be a replica of anything in-game. This is the pistol variant, but I may be doing a full-body recon in a similar style if this one passes inspection upon completion!Let me know what you think, but keep in mind this is about 75% done and a lot of the body still has paint to be added!

You should have sanded down the magazine and sprayed it, the coating over it made your spray look a bit strange, nice job though. I love the colors!

Thank you very much. I'm actually still fiddling with it, but I think the red parts came out how I wanted.

I appreciate that! The painting part is my specialty, so I take a lot of pride in the props, regardless of what I'm painting on

Great job painting the details! did you end up using stickers for the N7 logo or did you use a template? I've noticed they both have their upside, one you stick on and it's done and then with a template you can control how weathered it looks since you're actually painting in the logo(more work though of course).
I'm really wanting to mod a Rayven to look like a Mass Effect themed gun but it's got to light up and I'm not sure how hollow the Rayven's are,if it'd be a nightmare feeding wiring through one.

I use the decals for the logos, because of the crispness they give. I still weather them, but I agree painted-on logos would look good as well, just more time spent.
The Rayven should still have room to do what you want with the lights. There's plenty of wiring already there and you could just follow the route they take or just make your own with a little cutting

so do you make the decals yourself? Or do you order them somewhere. I've been doing my own but I'd love to get them done on transparent stickers. I dod a bunch of Borderlands inspired stuff and for the Jakobs logo I printed it on an overhead projector transparent sheet. [link] . Its a pain to glue on and sometimes the glue changes the colour of the paint behind the decal. Any sugestions?
