Description
This is part of a two gun set I'm working on, the other gun prop being a broom-handled Mauser. They may be more of a mix of diesel/steam styling, but I don't know what to call that yet, hehe. I just hope you guys like how it's looking so far--

Well then, looks like I found it just in time!

I like the side-grip thing. However you might want to put the compass on the top of the receiver to make it more "tacti-cool"

You know, I tried that and there just wasn't a good spot for it. I found that it was easy to tilt the gun to make the compass functional without losing control of the MP40

Did you try tapping or drilling a small hole?

I looked into it, but the seam line is there and it seemed like a bad idea. I normally love bad ideas, but in this instance I decided to bury it on the side, heh

Since you seem to enjoy the steampunk stuff, have you considered going to Teslacon?

Very nice! I like the mix between the chrome and the black metal! Good Job!

Thanks a lot! It's going to get some weathering, but I felt it matched what the buyer was looking for with his costume

You said you were working on a broomhandle and this, but what I want to know is where are you getting the originals from in the first place? Airsoft?

Yes , they are airsoft guns. They're relatively inexpensive and make a great base for projects like this!
