Description Here's the newest casting of Vash's iconic gun.  This is a solid casting so it's safe for convention cosplay, etc..  I would advise an orange tip if you're out in public, though, haha

If you're interested in on of your own, email me!  I'll also have a spinning barrel version available later in the month or June at the latest

A metal version with a spinning barrel would be amazing!  How much would it be?  A cool laser spot would also work well.

Amazing man!
Ive watchd like 16 episodes and I find this gun fantastic!
If I would find it on your store, I would buy it.
The thing with props here is that I live near brazil, and they ban realistic war toys, and argentina discourages paintball and airsoft, so airsoft and paintball here is expensive, what I do is grab a 5$ bb and and paint it to look like a makarov or a toy SAA to look like Ocelots one

Very nicely made! Have you made the spinning barrel version, or is it in the works still? Also if you don't mind I would like your prices but I have no email with the tablet I'm using

I actually do have a moving version in the works as well as an aluminum body version!  That one will take some time, but the resin version should be a lot more affordable.  Sorry, I don't go over prices on dA, but when you can email me, I'd be happy to talk to you about it, thanks!

i might have asked this before...but have you ever made his gun from the manga?

No I haven't, but here's the kit I'm working on now which is a bit different than the one shown here.  I like that it will have the spinning cylinder and the actual bullets for some extra realism

Damnnnnnnnnn nice work mate kinda wish this was a real gun and you could get it in any gunstore all though it would one hell of kick when you shot it .

You said something about solid castings being safe for conventions; as opposed to what? I don't cosplay, so the details of the rules are a complete mystery to me.

JohnsonArmsProps In reply to AmpOwl [2014-05-02 03:26:12 +0000 UTC]

The conventions don't usually like realistic replicas that have trigger or hammer action

I was wondering if you would make one

My version will be 14 inches long and the cylinder spins  This 9ne is awesome, but I look forward to spinning that cylinder! Hehe

Nice!
I've always been a fan of that pistol- did you know it was originally based off a real revolver? Check out the Mateba Unica- it was a brilliant  design; its spiritual successor, the Chiappa Rhino, is also hideously awesome.

Now if I could only find a break-action revolver IRL that wasn't an antique six-shooter..

JohnsonArmsProps In reply to tophoo [2014-05-03 06:57:26 +0000 UTC]

I love the break-action as well!  Lets resurrect Webley and make our own?

I had read about the Mateba Unica influence and I can see it.  Very cool imdeed
