Hah, great. But seems rather bland still. Let's wait for the ready version!

You should make a video showing this thing in action on your channel.

I think they intend to use it for a film, I'll try to get a copy
to make some clips from it

On your you-tube channel and such, you could give a demo of some of your props in action would give good exposure I think, or some tutorials. Especially with Lolly Pop chainsaw just having come out.

Excellent suggestions! I try my best, but with the limited time and volume of projects going on, I just don't find the time to video and document stuff very often. I'll do my best though!

I can understand that. If it ever slows then you got a good way to pick it up a bit at least. Some crafters have issues making even one video a month so your not alone. Myself included. Not that I don't work on stuff just can't sit down and record everything I do or explain it.

Do you know what brand it is? I have a Home Depot toy (but full size) chainsaw that I've been waiting to mod/paint, but it's blade doesn't actually rotate. It kinda looks like it's rotating, but in reality it just oscillates and makes a engine revving sound. I'm hoping to turn it into an Ash chainsaw hand prop.

I don't know the brand, but you can find them on eBay for about $60 or so. It's fairly full-size and would be bad as a prop for your Ash chainsaw hand (it's still pretty heavy!)
I've seen the one you have and I think that will work pretty well. I'd like to see it when you're done!

It is! It's got a slow-rotating belt and chainsaw sound for cheeze effect! hehe
