I wonder if any gunsmith has built one of these for real? It strikes me that the barrel extension and muzzle vents would make the P93r a lot more accurate.

I didn't find any showing online. Β I know they have some very expensive metal airsoft models with gas blowback, etc, but that's about as close as I've ever seen personally

Personally I believe that a lot of the old films don't have to be (and usually shouldn't be) remade because they're perfect exactly as they are. It could well be a decent flick in it's own right, which is the thing with a lot of these new remakes, they're so different from the original film that I often feel they should have just released the film under a new name, and attempted to launch it as a whole new franchise rather than trying to ride on the credit of an established franchise. The other thing too is I feel we need to look forward and try our best to imagine new things we haven't seen before, rather than looking backwards at what's already been done.Β
