Description
Finished! After working on this thing off and on for 4 years, it's finally done. Some parts I should have changed before making the final molds, and they tore in some unfortunate places because of it, but I at least got the one gun out of the molds. I can probably get a couple more, but they'll need a lot of work to clean up some of the rough spots.Solid resin cast body, hammer and cylinder cast separately.
There's about 4 or 5 things I would change or improve if I wanted to do it again, but I've made 3 versions of this thing over the last 6 years and I'm pretty sure I'm done with this gun.

Love it. One of the more elegant guns of anime-fame, and overlooked surprisingly often.

I know, it's such a simple design. It was a popular piece for cosplay around 2004-2006, everyone wanted one.

Just threw the molds out last weekend. I've got some 3D models I"m working on that will allow me to make it again in a better kit form.

No idea, I've made Vash's longcolt 4 times now, and it's kind of on the back burner until I get some other new projects done. The turnaround time on 3D printing is at least 2 weeks, and I have to draw up the parts and sand the shit out of them, so it wouldn't be any time soon.

I'm making one and having trouble with the hammer and trigger!
