this blows my mind, and my mind hardly ever gets blown.  not even when taking account of all of  the amount of esoteric stimuli that i come across on the daily, this shines in comparison to all of that.  this beautiful work of art is truly ineffable.  there are no words in the human language that could be applied in attempting to define its luster.  just everywhere, the color is right.  the text adds to the artwork, with a weird, yet appalling symmetry of language, and aesthetics.  the use of anatomical structures, is boggling by itself.  the opaque purple, juxtaposed with the hints of blue in the corners, is stunning!  it is just right.  there isn't any room for envy even, just admiration--like i would dali, or kandinsky.  it is that good.

Wow - high praise indeed. Thank you .

You're making me peer at the little collection I have of cut outs sitting there neglected and thinking perhaps I should persist with this collaging gig.  It is a wonderful process, you collect a bunch of images you think are interesting and then you kind of play with jig sawing them, and you don't know what you are going to create until it is created.  Although I wonder if your subconscious is kind of guiding you all the way, because often they speak a story to me when they are finished.

Lol - yeah, I really tweaked the colours out of the photo.  The original is not quite as vibrant.

It's an impressive job you did there then. It really brings out the figure, making them pop out of the composition

Thanks

I wasn't quite sure if it was the right song to put with it.  It is kind of the idea that the powers that be were the ones who would sanction what kind of art and writing became mainstream and what was suppressed and destroyed.  We've lost so much art and writing that didn't suit those in power along the way.

But then stuff surfaces, some of it was hidden away or buried, and it gets dug up and then we get a different version of history to compare against the standard.  So there are artists and writers who tow the party the line and then those that don't.  But whatever either side creates that survives shapes the way human kind sees itself.  We are the ones that record history, shaped by our personal perspectives.  There is perhaps no greater power than that.
