There's a fanart contest on r/Pokemon on Reddit, regarding Necrozma fusions in anticipation of Ultra Sun and Moon. I found the idea of Necrozma's armor replacing Clamperl's shell really interesting. Tbh, Shellder could have worked as well, and produced a more humorous result, but I wanted to tap on the lore tidbit of Spoink using Clamperl's pearl for its psychic powers.
