Introducing color edition! with simple gif animation!!
Whenever peridot starts an interogation, i will switch the style of the comic to color and very limited background, as i want the sole focus to be on the characters involved.

Yeah while the black and white tone works well for a noir themed enviroment, when its time for interogation the only real important factors are the characters involved and the occassional evidence presented. To that end i thought it would be more appropriate to use color for teh interogation whilst removing the background almost entirely (it also means that i can more easily draw "flashback" moments as part of the background XD).
I wanted to increase the tension a bit so thats how I got the idea to partially animate the first panel kinda like a vs screen, went pretty well in my opinion ^w^

It reminded me of Ace Attorney a little. I also liked Lapis's little diss "it's not like you were our first choice."
