Only thing troubling me about the cover is it looks like she just crushed the gun with telekinesis.Β

I've just gone back and checked that she has gravity powers. My bad.

It's not polite to point at people, especially with a gun... Not that it would matter against a genuine meta-hominid.

Illun In reply to polegaria [2015-02-05 06:54:06 +0000 UTC]

Definitely not a Glock. Glocks have a rectangular slide, and they have a round spacer sleeve that is visible at the front below the barrel. The hole in the hammer, the front iron sight, and frame shape looks like a Beretta 92FS was probably the reference, but there are other aspects that definitely aren't a real gun. The slide grip being separated from the slide, in particular.

true. as well as the front of the slide having a curious slit of metal laying out.

It's a Brand X art-gun. It looks kinda like a Glock, though. The little square near the bore is reminiscent of the Glock logo on their pistols, the slide serrations are similar to those on a Glock, the grip is somewhat similar. But the slide is different at the front and Glock pistols are striker-fired, so there'd be no hammer sticking out the back.Β

Well, there's also the lack of a recoil spring, slide rails, and the weird way the barrel is enclosed on the underside the the slide....

But you can't be expected to draw the internals of a gun accurately if you've never seen them.

Brand-X art-gun. I once politely noted that an artist's rendition of a revolver couldn't fire because the barrel and the cylinder didn't even sort of line up. The response was... unkind.

Telling an artist about bad gun rendering is one step below pointing out their bad anatomy. I collect head-slaps pointing out backwards buckles. Even then I've been argued with. Hence the picture link in my .sig.

seemed kinda Glock-ish, yeah. But the grip looked very Barretta. God, I love how there can be such a debate over a gun in a piece of art that has little to nothing to do with the whole picture XD

Well, you know, Victory is cute and all. I guess I have a thing for machines of all kinds.

true... i generally base my OC's around the idea of man and machine being a functioning pair.
i just...LOVE mechanical ideas. a current OC carries an Apache anti-structure gun. i looked up the mechanics behind those things and that shits just... wow... just gotta imagine that one day,the designer was on the toilet and went "im gonna make a huge ass gun on that chopper... but i want it to rotate... and i want it to rotate with the helmet tilt of the co-pilot. and i want there to be a camera on it and i want the screen of it inside his visor...yes...yes,that would be the shit..." and then some yobbo at the papers department went "okay." to the creators surprise. XD

Β  From what I remember, and this just putting it bluntly (I may be wrong, so don't quote me on this); she manipulate Space and dimensional fields.
Kind of like making a psuedo space where you are incredibly strong, ergo capable of breaking a gun, e.g. above example. There's a better explanation some-
where on Mr. Jack's DA page, so I suggest looking there for the facts and details.Β
