Personally, I never really get tired of Fallout 3, especially with GotY edition. I enjoy immediately finding Dogmeat and Charon without having to worry about Karmic Balance. O:A is a good place to start for the newer people who picked up GotY, immediately master Power Armor and you get some bad-ass weaponry VERY fast :3
Cannot wait for Fallout 4 <3

I loved the game but i was disappointed in how it ended because i was hoping i could finish the main quest and then explore the wasteland, but sadly...nope.

I kinda like having allies, I ran around with Charon for a while, loved it...until we ran into a band of Talon Company mercs and he died. I miss that Ghoul...but yeah I love that game too :3

Geez, even Dogmeat hasn't died and I've gotten into some really hairy sitches with Talon Company and Raiders, Deathclaws, etc. Fawkes died once, but that was a glitch I think.

Well this was when I was at like level 8, and he ran off on his own...but Dogmeat never dies when I have him, cause every time I see him hurt, it's like "STIMPAK!!!" I love my dog <3
(Plus, I carry like 200 Stimpaks :3)

BUT I did get my first super cool Tri-Beam Laser Rifle thingy!!! OwO then I found the Captain's Sidearm in Mothership Zeta and was like, "...SIDEARM!!!"

Oh yeah! Unfortunately the tri-beam I found had less damage than the laser rifle I was carrying....
Haven't done Mothership Zeta myself, but I watched my boyfriend play it, and I'm not sure if I want to take the time to go through it all again, lol.

I found Mothership Zeta worth the time, you can get a lot of money fast if you start off doing it immediately. All those Alien Atomizers and Disentegrators you can sell, it's worth the effort, not to mention the Samurai Armor sells for like 500 caps :3
Which, that's a pretty hefty sum for something so easy to obtain

I hate when the game lags though T_T especially when I leave to go to the bathroom or something and turns out the game finished loading, and I ended up dead...that sucks!!!

Lol I'm always afraid of that happening XD but yeah, in Broken Steel and other parts of the game, it lags and freezes up so much that I often have to restart the game once or twice each time I play it.

Speaking of Broken Steel, great story idea, but the Tesla Cannon-to me-was a terrible idea. I already had the Gauss Rifle, and that had a scope. The Heavy Incinerator was awesome though

I find the Tesla Cannon to be very ineffective and rather dumb compared to, say, a heavy incinerator or precision gattling laser :/ I agree with you.

It wasn't a great concept idea, considering it only held one ammo and took forever to reload, atleast with the Gauss Rifle, it was made for long distance sniping, so you weren't getting into close combat with it, so the reload time wasn't really a problem, unless the enemy was really fast...

its actually fallout tradition that the main character dies at the end, its supposed to be depressing, i just wish creatures and bandit-type npcs reset more often

As of Fallout 3 - was a cool game at first but the fun ware off somewhere halfway through the game. The first games were much better IMHO.
And also, I can't recall that drugs were anything special [you get a stat change and the only visual effect was it wearing off]

I was pissed about the story ending until I grabbed Broken Steel online. I love that thing: Extends the main quest, kicks the Level cap to 30, and takes the whole "Over when it's over" ending... And shoots it in the face with a vacuum/leaf blower propelled teddy bear!
In case you couldn't guess, the Rok-It launcher made my day. There is nothing quite as satisfying as killing a Super Mutant with a Spork.

Yeah but it also the coolest gun. I could have said Tesla Cannon but that just does not sound fallout-ey. It is my belief the the Rok-It Launcher is the perfect Fallout gun. Mainly because of its "ammo." I can now say I have killed a 20 foot giant monster with nothing but cutlery. Oh wait! I also used a skull. But it was the spork in the eye that killed him.

That is not exactly karmic. Maybe a gore bag, or contents thereof. But my personal favourite was the paper weight in the crotch against a merc. He died from shear PAIN!

The story was simple and sweet, but could have improved a bit. especially the ending.

And then broken steel was released removing that annoying END.
Which is pretty much the only best part about broken steel.
Though the newer point lookout was great for more drugged up adventures!
