Well, its not a single wall. It's a bloody great huge bunker that needs a nice nuke to take it out.
Upside though, you get as many nuke-bunker busters as you can afford from the Mech woman later on. Meaning all those who crossed you (pretty much anyone depending on bordem) can be bombed in to tiny tiny bits.
