There's that strong a following for Borderlands 2? That surprises me. I loved the first one, haven't touched the second. I think you'd get a greater backlash saying you liked (which I did) Mass Effect 3.

Meh, I'm not interested in that genre of game, so I probably wouldn't like Mass Effect 3 either way.

Anyone I've talked to about the subject basically balked and said "No, that's just not allowed" when I told them I hadn't played it.
The exact same happened when it comes to the PokΓ©mon Adventures manga or MS Paint Adventures (a.k.a. Homestuck) when I tell people I read a bit and found it meh; fans of the thing basically tell me "IF YOU DON'T LOVE IT, YOU MUST NOT HAVE READ ENOUGH." I'm never going to read "enough"; the stuff I read already wasn't enough to pull me in, and the fans that constantly annoy me about it are not going to help with that.

Well while I know it's not your preferred genre, I feel obligated to recommend ME3 to you. As it is, in my minor opinion, an excellent game. Do as you will though.
