No, I'm afraid it wasn't to get 'irate, inarticulate replies' its a genuine concern that someone as intelligent and talented as Jollyjack is making an unfair generalization that is in direct context to his viewers.
I really like the work he does and I normally really like what he has to say. But I'm afraid this is nothing shy of a spam or troll tactic. And as a U.S citizen I'm sorry to say he's misinformed and callous journal and reply has alienated me.
I feel unless he's doing art to make his point, his journal and recent post here are nothing but an attempt to garner page views. If you look at his statistics it show's a steady drop then when he post the journal and the work it skyrockets.
I'm not saying I'm jealous of his page views. I just feel he made an unfair judgment and generalization.
