I believe that Thanos and Darksied did have a throw-down during a cross-over called 'Amalgam Age'. I think it's only a graphic novel so you'd probably have to look it up on-line.

The only way Thanos can HOPE of defeating Darkseid is by gouging his eyes out

Or by snapping his fingers whilst still kiloparsecs away and erasing him from reality. With the Gauntlet he really is that powerful. The only reason the heroes stood a chance in hell during the Infinity War comics series is that comic book Thanos has an ego issue and likes smashing his foes up close and personal. I don't think that the MCU version has that problem.

The really sad thing is that Darkseid was the basis for Thanos. Would really have liked to see him on the big screen first but Warner Bros just seriously cocked it up. Ah well maybe DC tv shows will do the character some justice (no pun intended!).

What blows my mind is that the DCEU and MCU seems to have had a personality swap of their major-league villains. Thanos becomes a thoughtful philosopher-tyrant who actually gives a damn about his inner cadre of followers, much like the comics Darksied. Meanwhile the Apocalypsians become near-mindless destroyers who devastate whole worlds seemingly just for the Evlulz, much like the comic book Thanos!

Technically that would trump him. Canon wise the glove only works in the universe it originates from, but with the Anti-life equation, Thanos literally becomes Darksied.

I'm not sure if that would work since the power doesn't work outside their universe so I dunno if he could grab someone from another universe and bring them there since he has to reach outside the universe to do it... XD But if he could, I could definitely see that being the case. Regardless though. Darkseid is gonna come back later and cause havoc.

Obviously not canon, but in the Marvel vs Capcom game, the Reality and Space stones are used to fuse together a myriad of universes together into a single one, merging the Marvel's and all of Capcom's universes into one. So, I suppose we can assume that the canon stones DO have such power?
